Graphic Designer wins Greggs Hope Champion Award!
We’ve got some great news to share! Our talented graphic designer Sarah has received a Greggs Foundation Hope Champion Award.
A little bit about the Greggs Foundation
The Greggs Foundation is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and is closely associated with Greggs plc. It’s a grant making charity which improves the quality of life in local communities. The Foundation brings together all of Greggs’ charitable giving and is managed by an executive team of currently seven members of staff, overseen by a board of trustees. They aim to make a difference through the provision of five main grant programmes, North East Core Funding grant, Local Community Projects Fund grant, Environmental grant, Hardship Fund grant and Breakfast Clubs which all share the common goal of improving the quality of life of people in local communities.
The Foundation executive team meet several times a year to discuss nominations for the Hope Champion Award. Karen Eadington, who is the Breakfast Club administrator for the Foundation, nominated me for this award for ‘Making a positive impact’.
A few words from the winner
“For the last 6 years I have worked on the design for the Greggs Foundation Annual Review, often visiting the team at their offices to take the brief and liaise with them in all aspects of the job. Last year, for the first time, I worked on the Breakfast Club Review as well! The team are great fun, always a joy to work with and it gives me great pleasure to visit them and to discuss their projects! I will always give my all for the Breakfast Club team and the Foundation as I do believe they are doing a very important and special job and, I think, due to this, Karen nominated me for the HOPE award!”
Once again we’d like to congratulate Sarah on receiving her award. Keep up the fantastic work!
